Who I am
Hello and welcome! My name is Megan, and simply being here with you is an incredible privilege. As much as I’ve learned through my education and profession, my own mental health journey has taught me far more than any course or textbook, and it is a privilege to have emerged on the other side —healthy, full of joy, and deeply passionate about my life and profession.
I don’t just bring clinical expertise to the session, I bring the real life trial and error wisdom, and the embodiment of everything I teach, which I believe is the key to my client's success.
I bring my full self to the session, and hope to inspire you to do the same, unapologetically.
Outside the therapy room, you can find me laughing with friends and family, diving into the ocean, or getting lost in creative writing. What it’s like to work with me
I never turn off who I am in the room — my warmth, curiosity, and grounded enthusiasm are part of the work. I’m here as your safe space and biggest cheerleader as we move toward real, inspired change.
You are in charge of your goals, and therefore your sessions. What’s been coming up for you that week? What’s felt challenging? What’s felt good? Where did you feel triggered? What have you been noticing about yourself or your environment? These are the things we’ll focus on, and, through this processing, will organically relate back to and get you closer to reaching your goals.
Our sessions will feel like talking to an old friend. We’ll laugh, cry, connect, and go deep to untangle the patterns and pain that have been holding you back, and I’ll be sure to leave you with actionable steps you can take outside of session to help you reach your goals.
Nothing’s off the table. I’ll always be honest with care, especially when I see you playing small or getting in your own way.

My Approach
I am curious, compassionate, assertive, playful and real in sessions.
I believe in the power of self-expression, self-compassion, levity, and human connection as potent healers. The stories we tell ourselves, how we speak to ourselves, our ability to express ourselves, and our beliefs about ourselves (and the world) directly shape our life experiences.
My approach is integrative and holistic, blending humanistic, cognitive behavioral, and client-centered approaches. I typically act as the guide and allow my clients to take the wheel in sessions. I place a lot of emphasis on helping my clients reach liberation and freedom (whatever that individually means to them!) build insight and self-awareness, explore and define core values to enhance decision-making, increase self-worth and self-esteem, and take aligned action towards achieving goals.
I also firmly believe that healing doesn’t have to feel so heavy, and that laughter and frolicking in the ocean can be just as healing as journaling or meditation. I tailor my approach based on your individual needs and personality, and make sure to always focus your treatment on exactly what you’ll need to reach your goals.
